Manhattan Inn Brooklyn

Once passed the very north of Williamsburg appears the edge of Greenpoint where you have this interesting road called Manhattan avenue.

If you want to escape from the City for a bit but still keep a look on it, a little journey in Greepoint is a very good choice. Here, you will feel like being somewhere in the Eastern Europe, surrounded by Polish speaking people, Polish bakeries, a whole Polish neighborhood in fact. But also bunch of little boutiques, restaurants and venues where you will not have to empty your wallet nor stay on line for hours but still have a very good time.

A good example is Manhattan Inn.What is it?

 I would say a very pretty Brooklyn'touch-piano/bar-lounge-restaurant.

The lace lloks small first and then surprise : the backroom is like a journey itself with the piano in the middle the verrière on the roof and the tables all around. Exceptional place for a date, guys you will not even have to talk, she will be impressed, for sure!

I went there for a brunch.
Everyone was having the French toast which I guess is awesome whle I was feeling salty that day and had the omelette with portobello mushroomsn yummy!
The drinks are much less expensive than usual, $6 for a mimosa.

Let's go back one day for dinner, just call me whenever you are hungry.

They also have free concerts and events everyweek and a nice happy-hour ($3 a beer)
